That’s why we want to remind our current and prospective parents about the Government's Tax-Free Childcare scheme, designed for children aged 0 to 5 years. Eligible parents can receive up to £2,000 per child each year to help cover day care costs. To qualify, each parent must be working and earn between £142 and £100,000 annually. This initiative makes childcare more affordable and allows parents to pursue their careers while ensuring their children receive the best possible start in life. At Little Acorns Day Nursery, we are proud to offer the Flying Start programme for children aged 2 to 3 years. This Welsh Government initiative provides eligible families with 2.5 hrs a day early education to help give children the best start in life. We offer theses 2.5 hour sessions Monday- Friday. We also incorporate Flying Start sessions into our nursery schedule, allowing them to be used as part of either a half-day or full-day session to provide flexibility for families. This integration supports the developmental needs of children while accommodating the varied schedules of our parents.
